Our Mission
Excelsior Springs First Church of the Nazarene exists as a growing branch of God’s River of Life. “Living Water,” life changing water, flows here, bringing healing, hope, and joy. Let us drink and thirst no more.
“But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Local church HISTORY
Our local congregation has been an active part of Excelsior Springs since our beginnings in a tiny white building on Broadway in 1967. A group of high school students flourished, prayed for their families, and soon parents began to attend, and the church grew. Land was purchased just west of 69 highway, and a parsonage that also served as a meeting place was built. The current church building was completed in 1975.
